Deliver preventative foot screening and active pathology care as a Chiropodist supporting hemodialysis patients at William Osler Health System.

This Chiropodist provides care across Osler’s hemodialysis units for chronic patients. The work includes periodic foot screening, advanced wound care, patient education, and collaboration with the interprofessional team. You will maintain clinical records, contribute to care plans, and initiate referrals when conditions exceed your practice scope.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver patient care across William Osler Health System hemodialysis units
- Implement foot screening every six weeks for chronic patients
- Educate patients and caregivers about foot health
- Standardize foot care across the dialysis population
- Identify complications and initiate treatment or appropriate referrals

Requirements:

- Current positive-standing registration with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
- Recognized Chiropody or Podiatric Medicine program graduation
- Training in Diabetes Canada, Wounds Canada, and diabetic-foot guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and interprofessionally
