Nova Scotia Health seeks an Environmental Services Worker for the Western Zone’s Valley Regional Hospital. This permanent part time position supports patients, families, staff, and visitors through assigned cleaning services. Duties include mopping, dusting, vacuuming, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing floors, moving furniture, and changing curtains.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean assigned patient rooms and public areas
- Mop, dust, and vacuum furniture, floors, and stairways
- Buff, scrub, and refinish floors
- Move and arrange furniture as assigned
- Change curtains and drapes throughout assigned units

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent work experience
- Commitment to safety, ethical practices, and organizational health
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Reliable vehicle for travel to other sites
- French preferred; other language competencies considered an asset
