About the roleThe Banquet Supervisor is responsible for supervising the banquet team including banquet servers and banquet bartenders. A Banquet Supervisor provides leadership, direction, and guidance to the team, ensuring the function is running smoothly and efficiently.What you'll doSupervise event staffDirect the daily activities of staff members in the banquet departmentEnsure food quantities and quality is met before it is served to guestsEnsure all work is completed in a timely mannerRecord usage and wasteReview BEO's to ensure set up and requirements are completeFollow up with group coordinator to ensure functions are running smoothly and all requests have been metTrain new staff members according to the requirements set out by the department managerConducts performance reviews and performance management of teamWhat we're looking forA minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.



The person in this role must have excellent verbal, written and computer system skills. A minimum of 2+ years' experience in banquets and/ or events with outstanding supervisory or management skills and extensive hands-on experience.
