Diagnose complex vehicle systems at CNA’s Bay St. George Heavy Equipment Repair Shop, using mechanical expertise across shop and field settings.

As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will repair and maintain light- and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. The work covers engine, electrical, hydraulic, steering, suspension, and braking systems. You will also document repairs, manage parts, and use diagnostic tools, manuals, and computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment
- Service engine, electrical, hydraulic, steering, suspension, and braking systems
- Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine servicing
- Record diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and inspection results accurately




- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and organize parts and equipment

Requirements:

- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification
- Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic certification accepted
- Experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and prioritize established deadlines
