Keep buildings clean and orderly as a part time Custodian, using carpet cleaning and high-dusting skills during evenings and Saturdays. Maintain safe spaces for clients and staff through detailed cleaning duties.

As a Custodian or Janitor, you will perform heavy cleaning across assigned areas. The work includes vacuuming, shampooing carpets and upholstery, mopping floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. You will follow approved procedures, use assigned materials and equipment, and complete supervisor-assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vacuum and shampoo carpets and furniture upholstery
- Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures
- Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning
- Wash high-touch areas, walls, glass, and baseboards
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks and remove rubbish

Requirements:

- Previous housekeeping, custodial, or carpet cleaning experience is an asset
- WHMIS awareness is an asset
- Valuable verbal and written English command
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical ability to perform all job aspects
