Electrical commissioning specialists lead testing, energization, and integration across complex energy and infrastructure projects at TWD. Technical leadership and field execution are central. This Electrical Commissioning Specialist / Lead supports safe system installation, testing, energization, and operational readiness. The work spans power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, motor control, and protection systems. Depending on experience, the specialist coordinates commissioning activities and interfaces with engineering, construction, vendors, clients, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute electrical commissioning plans, procedures, schedules, and test documentation Coordinate pre-commissioning, energization, functional testing, and performance verification Lead field testing of substations, transformers, switchgear,



and motor control Verify installations, wiring, labeling, configurations, and functionality Support system turnover with complete, traceable commissioning documentation Requirements:

Skilled Engineer, Certified Engineering Technologist, or licensed electrician qualification CSA Z462 or NFPA 70E workplace electrical safety certification High-voltage LOTO and zero-energy verification experience Ten-plus years for senior or lead assignments Strong electrical power, protection, testing, and commissioning knowledge Bring electrical testing, energization, protection, and commissioning expertise to TWD’s complex project environments as a technical leader.
