Provide advanced physical assessment in Emergency Services as a part time Nurse Practitioner at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, serving CTAS III-V patients.

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, this Nurse Practitioner position focuses on holistic nursing assessment for higher-acuity emergency patients. You will collaborate with physicians and the emergency care team while applying diagnostic, medication, and care-planning expertise. The role requires critical thinking, patient education, and outcome documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop multiple assessment strategies within a holistic nursing framework
- Initiate and interpret diagnostic laboratory and imaging tests
- Order and administer medications for CTAS III-V patients




- Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary professionals
- Evaluate and document intervention and decision outcomes

Requirements:

- Master of Nursing with Primary Health Care certificate
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Three to five years of current Emergency Nursing experience
- Advanced Emergency Services assessment and treatment-plan knowledge
- RNAO membership with additional liability coverage
