Bring creative recreation programming and compassionate connection to Meadow Ridge Seniors Village as a Recreation Program Assistant. The schedule is 0.70 FTE.

This Recreation Program Assistant role supports Residents through meaningful leisure experiences and positive daily interactions. You will plan programs, lead activities, collaborate with families and colleagues, and support Resident well-being. The position reports to the Site Leader and follows a seven-out-of-fourteen-day rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, lead, and evaluate meaningful recreation programs
- Lead individual and group leisure activities
- Organize and accompany Residents on off-site outings
- Maintain attendance records and Resident documentation




- Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions

Requirements:

- Passion for enriching others’ lives through positive experiences
- Creativity, initiative, patience, and willingness to try ideas
- Minimum one year recent related experience preferred
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Recreation Aide certificate or related education is an asset
