Ontario Power Generation seeks a Truck Driver for radioactive material transport between nuclear generating and private industrial facilities. The regular position requires training and successful completion of associated courses before performing assigned duties. Responsibilities include transporting dangerous and non-dangerous goods, maintaining compliance, and supporting transportation emergencies. The base location is 2255 Forbes Street, Whitby.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy-duty vehicles transporting dangerous goods and equipment
- Secure loads and apply coverings under applicable regulations
- Complete vehicle inspections, duty logs,



and trip documentation
- Respond to transportation emergencies using established procedures
- Direct loading and unloading assistance when assigned

Requirements:

- High school diploma
- Valid unrestricted Ontario Class AZ licence in valuable standing
- Five recent years operating Class AZ combinations
- Three years transporting dangerous goods under TDG requirements
- Availability for extensive travel, overnights, and rotating shifts
