Assemble electrical units at Powell’s Electrical Division Edmonton location, using drawings, hand tools, and safety-focused manufacturing practices. This permanent position is based in Edmonton.

The Assembler reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor within the Switchgear Assembly department. You will build mechanical components, assemble switchgear units, repair discrepancies, and follow standard work instructions. The work supports Powell products while maintaining organized areas and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build mechanical components for switchgear units
- Assemble units according to drawings and instructions
- Repair identified switchgear discrepancies
- Attend safety meetings and promote safety culture
- Keep work areas clean and organized

Requirements:

- High School Diploma required
- Zero to three years manufacturing experience
- Ability to read tape measures and conversions
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
