The Community School Recreation Coordinator facilitates opportunities after school, evenings, weekends, and during special events. The position supports the Northern Community & School Recreation Coordinator Program. Responsibilities require recreation programming experience, volunteer coordination, and community understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate community-based sport, recreation, and culture opportunities
- Use school and community assets for programming
- Coordinate after-school, evening, and weekend programs
- Support community and school special events
- Work with volunteers during recreation programming

Requirements:

- Two-year recreation or leisure studies diploma, or equivalent
- Experience in sport, culture, and recreation programming
- Experience working with volunteers
- Organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
