Journeyman Welder/Fitter/Fabricator work in Smiths Falls, Ontario, using fabrication techniques and welding equipment. Kilmarnock Enterprise offers an hourly range of $38.00–$42.00.

This journeyman position covers production, service, repair, prototype, and fitter welding. You will fabricate custom machinery and structures, interpret blueprints, operate hand tools and machinery, and move between jobs. The work includes customer communication, documentation, project tracking, and assisting junior employees and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read blueprints, specifications, work orders, and written instructions
- Operate welding, cutting, brazing, soldering, and shaping equipment
- Assemble, fit, and weld metal sections and plates
- Conduct repairs, modifications,



retrofits, and corrective actions
- Monitor fabrication quality and maintain accurate project documentation

Requirements:

- Five years’ experience as a Journeyman Welder/Fitter
- Interprovincial Red Seal or CWB tickets
- Valid GMAW and SMAW certification in all positions
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
