Serve customers and donors as a Thrift Store Associate with The Salvation Army, using cash handling and merchandise processing skills daily.

This permanent full-time position supports retail operations through customer service, donation processing, inventory control, and store maintenance. You will interact with guests, vendors, volunteers, staff, and the Store Manager. The schedule varies and includes weekdays and/or Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and donors with courteous, positive service
- Complete cash and debit transactions accurately
- Sort, price, hang, pack, and store donations
- Replenish sales-floor inventory and support stock rotation
- Maintain organized, attractive, and protected store areas

Requirements:

- Some high school coursework completed
- A few months' processing, distribution, or customer service experience
- Required cash handling and cash register experience
- Attention to detail and good oral communication skills
- Ability to lift or carry up to 29 pounds frequently
