Lead field safety across Ontario transmission and distribution projects with inspections, coaching, and HSE compliance at Forbes Bros. Group.

As a Safety Coordinator, you will support field operations and implement the Health, Safety, and Workplace Management System. You will work with Operations, project leadership, and HSE teams on inspections, training, investigations, and hazard controls. This full-time temporary position is on-site with project-based rotation and travel throughout Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct site inspections, observations, and audits for HSE compliance
- Coach crews, address concerns, and lead toolbox talks
- Review hazard assessments, procedures, permits, and safety documents
- Support investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up




- Track training, records, incidents, audits, and regulatory documentation

Requirements:

- Occupational Health and Safety diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience
- At least three years of relevant safety experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills
- Microsoft Office and digital HSE systems proficiency
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel
