Job Summary

Emterra is currently seeking for a sorter/labourer to joinour team at our Regina, SK location. This position is responsible for sortingrecyclable materials and assisting with the overall operation of the yard. Thesorter/labourer is responsible to ensure unacceptable materials are removedfrom recycling or to be re-directed. This position is scheduled for up to 32hours per week, with hours varying based on operational requirements.

Position Descriptions

- Perform duties in a safe manner in compliancewith all Company policies;
- Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)equipment is utilized;
- Inspect materials and sort items or materialsinto designated areas;
- Pull contaminants from sorting line;
- Perform cleaning duties related to plantequipment and general housekeeping;
- Report system problems immediately toSupervisor;
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area andsurrounding area;
- Maintain an excellent attendance record and anexcellent safety and work quality record.

Skills & Qualifications

- Effective interpersonal skills to be able tocommunicate,



understand and respond to questions, instructions, signs, signalsand safety training;
- Excellent teamwork skills;
- Must be able to perform repetitive/physicaltasks for extended periods of time and lift items of up to 25lb;
- Must be able to work shifts as required;
- Must be able to work overtime as required.

Working Conditions

- Exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold and fumesfound in a shop workplace;
- Exposure to residential and commercial waste andrecycling;
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions;
- Exposure to equipment traffic.
