We are currently partnering with a well-established organization to hire an experienced Interim Corporate Controller for a long-term contract opportunity.Hybrid: 3 days per week in officeContract: Approximately 15–18 monthsThis is a hands-on doer/reviewer leadership role for a strong accounting professional who can manage the month-end and statutory reporting environment while providing leadership to an established finance team.Key Responsibilities:Lead the month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting and reporting processesOversee operational accounting, financial reporting, statutory reporting, audit and tax-related activitiesManage and develop a finance team, including experienced accounting professionals/managersReview journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements and supporting schedulesSupport budgeting,



forecasting and cash flow activitiesOversee accounting across multiple wholly owned legal entitiesWork within an ASPE reporting environmentPartner with external auditors and tax advisorsDrive process improvements and support finance-related projectsProvide financial guidance and business partnering across the organizationWhat We’re Looking For:Robust hands-on accounting and financial reporting experienceSolid ASPE knowledgeExperience working within a multi-entity organization; multinational exposure is an assetGood general understanding of corporate tax and statutory reportingProven ability to operate as both a hands-on contributor and people leaderStrong month-end and year-end close experienceExcellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skillsStrong systems and Excel skills; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is an assetThis opportunity would be ideal for an experienced Corporate Controller, Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or Senior Accounting Manager who enjoys remaining hands-on while leading a team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
