As a Welder, you will assemble components using applicable jigs and weld machine parts accurately. The work requires proven welding experience, attention to detail, and manual dexterity. Experience in a manufacturing facility and journeyman certification are assets. You will inspect welded structures, maintain equipment, and keep the area protected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain steel and components needed for specified projects
- Assemble parts using applicable jigs
- Read blueprints and weld machine components accurately
- Test surfaces, remove spatter, and inspect structures
- Maintain welding equipment and clean work areas
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a welder
- Journeyman certification is an asset
- Manufacturing facility experience is an asset
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
- Safety awareness and willingness to use protective clothing
