Support applied research projects at SAIT through laboratory experimentation, project coordination, and detailed documentation. Work with CIRAMM and industry partners to advance project deliverables.

As a Research Assistant, you will assist project managers with ongoing and upcoming applied research projects. Reporting to the research chair, you will help coordinate schedules, prepare laboratory procedures, maintain equipment, and document outcomes. Your work supports deliverables aligned with industry and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate applied research activities with CIRAMM and industry partners
- Maintain project schedules, resource plans, and materials estimates
- Prepare and execute laboratory tests and procedures




- Maintain equipment and manage laboratory consumable inventory
- Document experiments and create project summary reports

Requirements:

- Post-secondary degree with relevant research experience
- Laboratory Technician experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Explicit verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, organized, detail-oriented approach to multiple tasks
