Support daily thrift store operations as a Shift Supervisor at The Salvation Army’s Brentwood Thrift Store in Brentwood Bay, BC. Lead service, transactions, donations, and inventory activities.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this permanent full time position supports routine store tasks and acts as a Sales Associate. Responsibilities include customer service, cash and debit transactions, donation processing, inventory control, store presentation, and security monitoring. In the Store Manager’s absence, you act as Team Lead or Working Supervisor for Store Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support daily thrift store operations and uninterrupted customer service
- Process, sort, price, pack, and store donated goods
- Complete customer transactions using cash and debit sales




- Open and close the store following established procedures
- Maintain organized displays, shelves, inventory, and store cleanliness

Requirements:

- Completion of some high school
- Two years of store or warehouse experience
- Interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently
- Successful applicable screening and background checks
