This unionized Plant Mechanic position supports equipment used across the Dawn-Parkway System. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair power turbines, hydraulic valves, ancillary plant equipment, and compressors. The work also includes CMMS assignments, safety meetings, construction oversight, and mechanical problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair industrial gas and power turbines up to 44,000 horsepower
- Maintain large centrifugal and axial compressor sets
- Repair hydraulic-operated valves up to 48 inches
- Maintain compressors, generators, boilers, and fire systems
- Use CMMS and participate in safety communication meetings
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or proven equivalent
- Class G licence and suitable driving record
- Mechanical, mathematical, and technical application aptitude
- Willingness to work days or shifts
- Respirator fit testing and confined-space entry may apply
Support Enbridge’s compressor operations through turbine maintenance, critical troubleshooting, CMMS use, and safe equipment restoration.
