Use SolidWorks and mechanical design skills onsite in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, supporting GeoSpectrum Technologies’ underwater acoustic products and systems.

As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op, you will collaborate with experienced engineers across the product development lifecycle. You will design, test, and improve mechanical systems while developing detailed documentation. The work includes fabrication considerations, hardware assembly, testing, and investigation of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate workable solutions using SolidWorks and other tools
- Support mechanical system assembly and testing
- Create test plans, document results, and draw conclusions
- Investigate technologies, specifications, quotes, and vendor communication




- Produce detailed drawings, bills of materials, and procedures

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program
- Maintain positive academic standing
- Experience using three dimensional computer aided design
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods and Government clearances
