Red Seal industrial mechanic expertise meets diesel diagnostics and CVIP work onsite in Edmonton with TRAXX Coachlines’ commercial fleet. Maintain buses safely.

As a Red Seal Journeyman or Commercial Transport Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain motor coaches, buses, and related vehicles. You will support preventative maintenance while working with the Director of Maintenance and Shop Supervisor. The role requires diesel, electrical, brake, driveline, HVAC, and diagnostic computer knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, test, diagnose, adjust, repair, and maintain commercial vehicles
- Perform government inspections as licensed or qualified
- Review driver defects and update vehicle maintenance records
- Create, issue, track, and update work orders




- Escalate significant maintenance issues when required

Requirements:

- Red Seal Truck and Transport or Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
- Three or more years of heavy duty mechanic experience
- Knowledge of provincial CVSE standards and Federal Motor Vehicle Act
- Valid driver’s license with air endorsement
- High school diploma or GED and diagnostic software knowledge
