The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Dietary Aide for its permanent, 0.29 FTE position. Working under the Manager, Support Services and Cook, you will prepare and serve food for residents, patients, staff, visitors, and community programs. The work supports Meals on Wheels, Supportive Housing, Adult Day, and catering services while following policies and health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food to residents and designated service recipients
- Support Meals on Wheels, Supportive Housing, and Adult Day services
- Assist with visitor and catering food service
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards during assigned duties
- Provide courteous and effective customer service
Requirements:
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate, current or obtained within six months
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and texture modification
- Experience in healthcare or commercial food service
- Ability to operate required equipment
