Taza Development Corp. seeks an experienced Communications Specialist for hands-on leadership across strategic planning and daily media relations. You will shape communications for Tsuut’ina Nation audiences, residents, businesses, partners, leadership, media, and the broader public. The work spans web, social, community, corporate, and marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build integrated communications plans aligned with business priorities
- Produce websites, newsletters, reports, presentations, and announcements
- Lead proactive media relations and interview coordination
- Direct agencies, vendors, and content contractors




- Measure communications data and recommend improvements

Requirements:

- Seven or more years in communications or related fields
- Solid portfolio of personally led strategic communications work
- Exceptional writing, editing, and judgment for sensitive topics
- Experience managing stakeholders, approvals, deadlines, and partners
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, analytics, generative AI, and design tools
