Working under the Manager or designate, this casual position performs essential food services, housekeeping, and laundry tasks. The work supports Island Health’s commitment to patient and staff safety and continuous quality improvement. Assignments and days off occur as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform food services tasks under the Manager or designate
- Complete housekeeping duties supporting daily operations
- Carry out laundry tasks in the assigned work area
- Follow patient and staff safety responsibilities consistently

Requirements:

- Grade 10 education
- Two years’ recent related commercial or industrial laundry experience
- Food Secure Level 1 certification
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Physical ability to perform position duties
