Join a agile consulting team in Winnipeg as a Building Envelope Engineer/Designer. This full-time role emphasizes expertise in building science and the design of envelope systems across various projects.We're seeking a mid to senior-level Building Envelope Engineer/Designer with a strong background in building systems, restoration, or design. The successful candidate will engage in the design, assessment, and rehabilitation of building envelopes, collaborating with architects and contractors. Your role will involve addressing issues such as moisture infiltration while mentoring junior staff.Key Responsibilities:Design building envelope systems for new and renovation projectsConduct building assessments and moisture investigationsPrepare technical reports and specificationsCoordinate with other disciplines on building projectsMentor junior engineers and offer technical supportRequirements:Degree in Civil Engineering or related field3+ years in building envelope or consultingStrong understanding of building science principlesExperience in AutoCAD and/or RevitEffective communication and technical writing skillsBring your expertise in building envelopes to enhance projects in Winnipeg.
