This Instructional Assistant supports high school learners in MITT’s Industrial Welding program. You will reinforce faculty-provided content, assist with theoretical and practical skill development, and support blended or online learning. The position also helps students become independent classroom, school, and community members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide instructional support under faculty and management direction
- Reinforce program content and review assigned materials
- Assist students developing theoretical and practical skills
- Support blended learning and online course participation
- Prepare classrooms and program equipment before and after use

Requirements:

- Grade 12 diploma
- Related experience in the program field
- Experience using online learning tools, specifically D2L Brightspace
- Certificate in Adult Education considered an asset
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
