Immediate need for a talented Technical Architect. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Toronto, ON (Hybrid).

Pay Range: $55/hour.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

- Must Have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- Experience: 8–10 years designing and managing software projects with distributed computing, microservices, integrations in background
- 5–7 years in technology development in financial services
- Experience delivering large-scale data platforms and enterprise solutions
- Worked on 3rd Party systems and document management system experience
- Capital Markets or financial services industry experience
- Technical Skills:-Strong understanding of integration technologies, single sign-on, Enterprise Mobility Management, BYOK, Data Masking, Data Loss Prevention, and cloud solution architecture patterns
- Hands-on technical ability with programming languages including Python, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, expertise in REST APIs, JSON, DevOps, and infrastructure considerations.
- Cloud architecture, microservices, and APIs
- Solid REST API and JSON knowledge with ability to handle technical questions
- Data integration tools and security best practices




- On-premises to cloud and cloud-to-cloud integration experience
- Ability to define system architectures and identify gaps between current and desired states
- Design scalable, performance-driven solutions handling large data volumes
- Data fabric/mesh concepts and data architecture principles
- Agile and Scrum methodology experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Nice to Have: Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to influence cross-functional decision-makers
- Strategic thinking across multiple business units
- Years of Experience: 8 Years
- Candidates should be within 40 miles of work location.
