ANDRITZ Canada seeks a Designer for its Peterborough Generator Center. You will create mechanical layouts and details for large North American generator projects. The work involves 3D modeling, 2D drawings, parts lists, and standards verification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create technical 3D models for hydro generator components
- Produce associated 2D drawings from project source information
- Develop detailed parts lists for designed components
- Verify drawings and bills for quality and conformity
- Assist with or check other designers’ work

Requirements:

- Mechanical Technician diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years’ detailed mechanical design experience preferred
- Prior 3D CAD software experience; Unigraphics preferred
- Robust organization, attention to detail, and results orientation
- Legal status to work in Canada
