Support Cogir Senior Living residents through routine repairs, minor maintenance, and customer service in a retirement residence setting. Work independently while protecting safety and trust.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Aide performs repairs and maintenance across facility equipment, buildings, and grounds. The work includes plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, painting, and carpentry tasks. This position also supports housekeeping and maintenance duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute routine repairs and minor maintenance operations
- Paint, perform minor carpentry, and maintain exterior grounds
- Inspect premises for maintenance and safety concerns
- File required reports with the supervisor
- Follow facility policies, safety rules, and working practices

Requirements:

- Follow oral and written instructions in English
- Work independently and self regulate effectively
- Move heavy objects and perform necessary physical duties
- Carry out minor facility and equipment repairs
- Provide or obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
