Operate forklifts safely and efficiently at Weston Forest while managing product movement, storage, loading, and unloading in a full time yard role.

This Forklift Operator position supports accurate product flow from inbound receiving through outbound shipping. You will review work orders, stage loads, tally lumber and panels, and protect inventory during storage. The work also requires daily equipment inspections, housekeeping, safety reporting, and communication with supervisors and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load, unload, move, and stage products according to work orders
- Receive inbound product and verify paperwork, quantities, and purchase orders
- Prepare outbound orders, tallies, mill tags, and required paperwork
- Secure, strap, store,



and inspect products to prevent damage
- Report hazards, incidents, equipment damage, and product nonconformities

Requirements:

- Knowledge of lumber and panel units of measure
- Knowledge of all product line grades
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong initiative, follow-up, and prioritization skills
- Ability to self-manage and work cooperatively
