We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.Your Day to Day:Ensuring accurate documentation of completed work as per policies and proceduresPreparing prescriptions (gathering data from nursing staff) to be filled via dispensary softwareProcessing, adjudicating, dispensing, and filling prescriptions via Pacmed automationMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentMaintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standardsWhat You Bring To The Team:Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant programWorking knowledge of pharmacy calculationsVisual acuity, numeracy, detail oriented, manual dexterity appropriate for handling strip packs, prescription bottles and labelsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong interpersonal communication skills, able to maintain a qualified demeanor when speaking with clientele.
