Job DescriptionPosted Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 6:00 AMSandstone Pharmacies Enhanced Care Solutions is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.Patient Focused Care ResponsibilitiesSupport pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient careGreet customers and answer phone calls in a professional mannerAssist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technicianAccurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocolsReceive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory auditsKeep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulationsPerform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfersAssist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious central fill pharmacy experience and knowledge of Synmed and Pacmed are preferred but not mandatory.Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy witha preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business is preferred.Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset.Skilled in using Kroll and highly accurate and effective in prescription data entry.Experience with Pacmed and Synmed systems is considered an asset.Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
