This is an excellent opportunity with an international group.Location: Ontario/Canada but flexible. The company is open to consider candidates based elsewhere in Canada and who would be interested to work from home, visit the Ontario region (and our clients Ontario offices) on a regular basis and travel in other Canadian mining regions from time to timeThis key role reports to the Country Manager and is responsible for developing business and identifying opportunities in new territories, through market development and technical knowledge application. In addition, the role will focus on the development of new business, new markets, technological advancement of current business,



new services AND the planning and pursuit of strategic opportunities in Mining Chemicals. The ability to cultivate partnerships, including commercial relationships, will be crucial for the success of this position.Important RequirementsMetallurgy / Chemical Engineering Diploma / Degree10+ years experience within the mining chemicals / mining / chemical technology or related industriesKey business development experience5+ years general management and project management experienceDetailed understanding of extractive metallurgy processAbility to conduct lab tests and plant trials on the above processesGood knowledge of the market and professional relationshipsExcellent communication interpersonal skillsProblem solving and cutting-edge thinking skills to identify opportunitiesIndependent and self-motivated with the ability to work in teams and independently#J-18808-Ljbffr
