Under the Manager, Support Services and Cook, you will prepare and serve food for patients, residents, staff, visitors, and community programs. The position also supports catering while following health regulations, policies, procedures, and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food for patients, residents, staff, and visitors
- Serve meals for community and health-care programs
- Support Meals on Wheels and Supportive Housing services
- Assist with Adult Day and catering food service
- Maintain safety,
sanitation, and customer service standards
Requirements:
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate, current or obtained within six months
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and texture modification
- Experience in health-care or commercial food service
- Ability to operate required equipment and perform position duties
- Effective oral and written English communication skills
