Support residents in Edmonton as a Casual Maintenance Assistant, applying minor repair skills across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems. This part time position offers four to five shifts weekly.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager at Our Parents' Home, you will complete routine repairs and minor maintenance operations. The work includes painting, minor carpentry, exterior grounds upkeep, inspections, and required reporting. You will also follow facility safety procedures and support housekeeping and maintenance duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute routine repairs on facility systems and equipment
- Paint, complete minor carpentry, and maintain exterior grounds
- Inspect premises for maintenance and safety concerns




- File required reports with the supervisor
- Follow facility policies, safety rules, and working practices

Requirements:

- Follow oral and written instructions in English
- Work independently and self-regulate daily tasks
- Perform physical duties, including moving heavy objects
- Carry out minor facility and equipment repairs
- Provide or obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
