Support resident wellbeing through recreation programming at Stonewall PCH Rosewood Lodge with assessment, planning, and solid communication skills. This part-time position includes days, evenings, and weekends.

The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks an uncertified Recreation Facilitator for its health care team. You will design, deliver, and evaluate recreation programs for residents individually and in groups. The work supports service excellence, continuous quality improvement, and the Authority’s mission, vision, and values. Previous related recreation experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess residents’ capabilities, limitations, and special needs
- Plan recreation programs for individual and group participation




- Implement programs enhancing residents’ quality of life
- Evaluate recreation programming outcomes and effectiveness
- Work under the Regional Recreation Program Manager’s direction

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education
- Previous related recreation experience
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate within three months
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Physical and mental health meeting work demands
