Apply airport maintenance skills at Greater Sudbury Airport, repairing structures, operating equipment, and supporting essential airside operations through shift work.

This limited position serves Greater Sudbury Airport Services under supervision from the Airport Operations Supervisor or designate. Duties include general maintenance, equipment operation, water and sanitary system maintenance, refuse disposal, and assisting the mechanic. The role also requires safety knowledge and independent work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and maintain airport buildings, fencing, signs, and structures
- Complete ground, runway, concrete, and minor electrical repairs
- Operate airport vehicles, building equipment, power tools, and hand tools
- Maintain water and sanitary systems




- Assist mechanics and dispose of refuse as directed

Requirements:

- Secondary School Grade XII education
- Three years of heavy equipment operations and maintenance experience
- Ability to obtain required radio, airside, identification, and first aid certificates
- Valid Class D licence with Air Brake Endorsement and acceptable record
- Ability to interpret plans and work with minimal supervision
