Maintain West Vancouver’s transit bus fleet as a full time Transit Service Technician using mechanical aptitude and vehicle safety skills. Evening and night shifts apply.

Reporting to the Transit Maintenance Manager, this permanent position supports the Preventative Maintenance Program. You will protect vehicle cleanliness and integrity through inspections, fueling, cleaning, and basic mechanical assistance. Two positions are available within the West Vancouver Transit Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Check engine and fluid levels
- Fuel buses daily
- Clean bus interiors and exteriors
- Inspect buses for unreported damage
- Provide basic assistance to mechanics

Requirements:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Twelve months of related experience
- Valid Class 2 or Class 3 BC licence
- Air Brake endorsement
- Acceptable driver’s abstract and police information check
