The full time Assistant Operator supports plant operations at Shaw Renewables, a division of The Shaw Group Limited. This position requires manufacturing process equipment experience, mechanical aptitude, independent work, and a safety-focused mindset. You will communicate with crews and report operational concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out facility maintenance as directed by the plant operator
- Conduct quality control testing on wood pellet products
- Communicate plant operations with incoming and outgoing crews
- Report quality, safety, maintenance, and production issues




- Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently when required

Requirements:

- Commitment to a safe work culture
- Manufacturing process equipment operating experience
- Mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience
- Ability to work independently, shifts, and periodic overtime
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks in hot or cold environments
