Glen Group is hiring experienced Traffic Control Persons for projects in the Nanaimo area. You will manage lane closures, read Traffic Management Plans, complete Field Level Risk Assessments, and communicate with crews and supervisors. The work involves adjusting setups as live traffic and site conditions change.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up lane closures, tapers, detours, signs, and barricades
- Calculate taper lengths, buffer zones, and sign spacing
- Monitor traffic and adjust closures for safety
- Inspect equipment, signage, and work zones throughout shifts
- Complete logs,



assessments, and incident reports accurately

Requirements:

- Minimum nine months of Traffic Control Person experience
- Ability to read and draw Traffic Management Plans
- Ability to complete Field Level Risk Assessments
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
- Reliable, alert, safety-focused, and communicative
