Assemble transformer coils at PTI Transformers LP using insulation, hand tools, and production instructions under supervisor guidance.

The L1 Coil Assembler prepares windings and insulation into coil assemblies ready for transformer core mounting. You will kit materials, clean windings, install insulation, and support sizing operations. The work requires careful blueprint reading, assembly skills, and consistent attention to dimensions and records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Kit insulation and required coil assembly materials
- Clean and prepare windings for assembly
- Install wraps, ducts, and outside coil insulation
- Prepare lead connections and basic configurations
- Prepare coils for quality assurance inspection

Requirements:

- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Previous assembly experience is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
- Ability to obtain required safety training
