Lead plant operations at Stella-Jones through production, maintenance, quality control, receiving, and shipping responsibilities. Manage a broad manufacturing operation supporting utility and railway products.
The Plant Manager directs day-to-day plant activities and supervises all employees. This position manages operating budgets, workforce matters, EHS and TRD programs, inventory, production schedules, and capital projects. The role also maintains ISO procedures, supports employee training, and communicates with relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee receiving, shipping, production, maintenance, and quality control
Manage production schedules with sales and shipping departments
Control inventory, raw materials, finished goods, and counts
Prepare budgets and analyze operating costs
Participate in approved capital expenditure projects
Requirements: College diploma or equivalent relevant plant management experience
Minimum five years of related experience
Supervisory experience in a plant environment
Fluency in spoken and written French and English
Ability to manage a unionized setting
Bring plant leadership, production oversight, budget management, and quality control expertise to Stella-Jones operations.
