Operate DeltaV DCS systems for AltaGas at the REEF Terminal in Prince Rupert, supporting propane, butane, and LPG operations.
As an Operator 1 Panel Control Operator, you will support commissioning, startup, and ready-for-operations activities. Following startup, you will manage flows from railcars through chilling processes into LPG storage and VLGC vessel loading operations. The role requires control room leadership, technical decision-making, and strong coordination with Plant and Rail Operators, the Shift Supervisor, and Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities: Operate REEF from the DeltaV DCS control console
Support commissioning, startup, and ready-for-operations activities
Lead and support equipment lockout and tagout




Monitor CCTV PTZ cameras and maintain situational awareness
Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required
Five or more years in gas plant or terminal operations
At least two years of control room experience
Fourth Class Power Engineering certification required
Previous facility startup and commissioning experience
Bring DeltaV DCS proficiency, control room leadership, and protected operational judgment to AltaGas REEF Terminal operations.
