Shape acquisition strategy and enterprise growth as Director of Finance at EDL Building Solutions, based primarily from the Edmonton office.
Reporting to the Vice President, you will partner with the President on strategy, governance, and decisions shaping EDL's future. You will lead Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology while building systems and capability for repeatable growth.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with senior leaders on strategy, governance, and future decisions
Lead financial aspects of acquisitions, valuation, diligence, financing, and integration
Own forward looking reporting, budgets, and rolling forecasts
Drive enterprise value through earnings, cash generation, and invested capital returns
Lead Finance, HR, and IT teams toward accountable execution
Requirements: Skilled accounting designation, CPA or equivalent
Several years leading a finance function at senior level
Hands on mergers and acquisitions experience across required stages
Multi entity and inter company accounting experience
Strong commercial judgment and constructive leadership challenge
Apply financial leadership, acquisition expertise, and commercial judgment to help EDL Building Solutions build its platform company.
