Hatch seeks a Senior Mining Engineer for major mining projects across North America and internationally. The position combines mining engineering, consulting, and client-facing capabilities. You will support open pit and underground operations, mining studies, mine planning, due diligence, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities: Lead preliminary economic, prefeasibility, and feasibility studies
Develop life-of-mine plans and cost estimates
Serve as Lead Mining Engineer on multidisciplinary teams
Coordinate deliverables across technical project disciplines
Present findings and support proposal development
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
Ten or more years of progressive mining experience
Canadian Skilled Engineer registration or eligibility
Experience delivering mining studies and project execution
Mine planning, optimization, and economic evaluation expertise
Bring technical leadership, consulting judgment, and multidisciplinary project management to Hatch mining studies and client assignments.
