Build heavy civil estimates for SB Canada’s Major Projects group in Hamilton, using quantity takeoffs, quote management, and cost estimating expertise.
As an Estimator / Project Coordinator, you will work under senior estimating leadership across projects throughout Canada. Organize tender information, develop competitive bids, and support construction handover. The role also provides exposure to scheduling, cost control, claims, and stakeholder communication. Your work connects estimating with project delivery in deep foundations, ground improvement, excavation support, tunnelling, and geotechnical construction.
Key Responsibilities: Organize tender documents, addenda, and bid correspondence
Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications
Manage subcontractor and vendor quotes




Develop comprehensive cost estimates from available information
Support construction handover after project awards
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil, geotechnical, or related engineering
Three or more years of relevant estimating or construction experience
Hands-on quantity takeoff and quote management experience
Experience with cost estimates and project delivery activities
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Bluebeam experience preferred
Support SB Canada’s major projects through accurate estimating, disciplined tender coordination, and practical project delivery assistance.
