As an intermediate Chemical Process Engineer, you will support safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible production. You will collaborate with technical and operational teams across Upgrading, Extraction, and Utilities. The work focuses on quality, yield, efficiency, asset performance, and sound engineering judgment.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and optimize process performance for quality, yield, and efficiency
Conduct technical monitoring, field inspections, and risk assessments
Lead troubleshooting, optimization, and improvement projects




Mentor junior engineers across assigned technical activities
Support maintenance, turnarounds, and efficiency initiatives
Requirements: Undergraduate degree in chemical process engineering
Five to seven years of relevant experience
Experience in oil sands processing preferred
Registered or immediately eligible for APEGA membership
Solid computer skills and an Alberta Class 5 license
