As Logistics Manager, you will find cost-effective ways to distribute goods between Lordco locations. The work covers heavy-duty trucks, trailers, drivers, route planning, freight costs, and service levels. You will also support satellite distribution centres and report to the Director of Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate truck and trailer maintenance, inspections, tires, and chains
Set routes, track times, and manage delivery disruptions
Monitor freight costs, rates, and cost per kilometre
Report miss ships, damages, and late shipments
Manage hiring, training, coaching, evaluations, and coverage
Requirements: Basic Microsoft computer application skills
Solid math skills and high attention to detail
Understanding of SDS, WHMIS, TDG, and safety regulations
Ability to organize, multitask, and solve problems
Strategic thinking and team vision
