Lead mechanical maintenance at Greenfire’s SAGD facilities in Fort McMurray, applying equipment reliability expertise across a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation.
The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership and technical oversight at central processing facilities, well pads, and associated infrastructure. This full time, permanent position directs preventive, corrective, and emergent work on rotating and stationary equipment. The Supervisor supports safe execution, regulatory compliance, and cost-conscious maintenance delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Lead daily mechanical maintenance across plants and well pads
Oversee pumps, compressors, valves, piping, and pressure equipment
Guide troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and reliability improvements
Coordinate SIMOPS, isolations, permits,



and safe equipment handovers
Use Maximo to maintain work orders and equipment history
Requirements: Red Seal mechanical trade certification or equivalent experience
Minimum ten years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
Experience leading crews or contractors in operating facilities
Knowledge of Alberta OHS, ABSA, and pressure-system codes
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and site access capability
